Grand Master Cup Championship Hanmadang

The World Christian Taekwondo Federation is proud to announce the

1st Annual Open Taekwondo Hanmadang.

This event will be held at the Grand Master Yi Brothers TKD school in Port Orchard, Washinton.

While Taekwondo sparring is well-known as an Olympic sport, it requires a high level of skill and physical conditioning. Because of this, only about 10% of students in the average U.S. Taekwondo school participate in sparring classes and competitions.

The World Christian Taekwondo Federation U.S. Open Taekwondo Hanmadang is designed for the 90% of Taekwondo students who do not participate in sparring. Our Hanmadang offers these students a chance to showcase their skills in traditional forms, creative forms, creative board breaking, and demonstration events.

Additionally, we encourage parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles to create teams and participate together. This unique opportunity for families to compete is what draws such strong participation numbers to our event.
